Summary (not binding): A Hipocard is a digital gift code issued by Hipopotamya. After obtaining a code, you use it on contracted dealer platforms (game and digital-product sites) by activating it in exchange for products or that platform's balance. Each code is single-use; it is not a payment instrument or a money balance — it grants usage rights on the platforms in the acceptance network.
ARTICLE 1 — DEFINITION AND NATURE
1.1. A Hipocard is a digital gift code issued by Hipopotamya Bilişim Limited Şirketi, a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Türkiye (the "Company"), in specific value tiers (denominations), which can be used within the acceptance network described in Article 3 in exchange for products or site balance. The current denominations are announced through the sales channels.
1.2. A Hipocard is not money, electronic money or a balance denominated in Turkish Lira; it cannot be converted into cash, does not bear interest and does not constitute a payment instrument. The code represents a virtual value granting usage rights exclusively on the platforms in the acceptance network.
ARTICLE 2 — ACQUISITION
2.1. A Hipocard may be obtained through the Platform or through the sales channels authorised by the Company.
2.2. For codes obtained from unauthorised channels (second-hand listing sites, social media, unknown persons), the risk that the code has already been used, has been cancelled or was obtained by unlawful means rests with the acquirer.
ARTICLE 3 — USE (ACCEPTANCE NETWORK)
3.1. The code is used on the platforms of the Company's contracted acceptance dealers (game and digital-product sites) by being activated in exchange for products or the relevant platform's site balance. Following activation, delivery of the product or balance is the responsibility of the dealer platform on which activation took place; the systemic validity of the code is guaranteed by the Company.
3.2. Codes are single-use; partial use is not possible. The current list of contracted platforms is announced through the sales and use channels; the Company may expand or narrow the acceptance network.
3.3. Keeping the code confidential is the holder's responsibility; the Company cannot be held liable for use of the code by a person who has obtained it, unless the Company is at fault.
ARTICLE 4 — VALIDITY, CANCELLATION AND BLOCKING
4.1. Where an expiry date is set for codes, it is stated in the sales channel; unless so stated, a code remains valid unless and until it is cancelled.
4.2. The Company may cancel or block codes whose price has not been collected, which are suspected of forgery or fraud, or which were obtained by unlawful means. In blocking and cancellation cases, a review is carried out upon the application of the legitimate holder whose rights are affected.
4.3. Hipocard codes delivered pursuant to an order are governed by the digital-product provisions of the Cancellation, Refund and Right of Withdrawal Policy; a used (activated) code cannot be returned.
ARTICLE 5 — LIABILITY
5.1. The Company ensures that duly acquired codes that have not yet been used are valid in the system. The obligation to deliver the product or balance following activation on a dealer platform rests with the relevant dealer.
5.2. Code verification, activation and use records are retained for security and evidentiary purposes for the periods prescribed by the Applicable Legislation.
ARTICLE 6 — ENTRY INTO FORCE
6.1. Matters not regulated in these Terms are governed by the User Agreement and the Applicable Legislation.
