1.1. This Cookie Policy explains the types of cookies and similar technologies used on the Platform operated by Hipopotamya Bilişim Limited Şirketi, a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Türkiye (the "Company"), the purposes for which they are used and the options available for managing them, in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the guidance of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Board) on cookie practices. ARTICLE 2 — WHAT IS A COOKIE?
2.1. Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device by the websites you visit. They are used for purposes such as maintaining your session, remembering your preferences and analysing how the site is used.
ARTICLE 3 — CATEGORIES OF COOKIES USED
- Strictly necessary cookies: Required for the Platform's core functions (session management, security verification, language preference, shopping cart); the service cannot be provided without them. They are not subject to explicit consent.
- Functional cookies: Cookies that personalise your experience, such as remembering your display preference (dark mode) and which notices you have dismissed.
- Analytics cookies: Used to measure page visits and usage statistics; they help us improve the service.
- Marketing cookies: Cookies used for targeted advertising. The Platform does not currently use any marketing cookies; should such use begin, this Policy will be updated and the required explicit consent will be obtained.
Cookies in the non-essential categories are processed on the basis of explicit consent under the KVKK.
