BluTV products: the HBO Max transition and code eligibility

BluTV’s streaming service has moved to HBO Max. For membership products still listed under the BluTV name, review not only duration but also whether the code is accepted by the current platform. Compare Hipopotamya product details with current redemption terms.

What changes with the platform transition?

HBO Max offers series, films and other video content under its own package conditions. Do not assume that every current plan preserves BluTV’s catalogue, device support or subscription rights unchanged.

An old code is not a new promotion

Migration of a BluTV account and acceptance of an unused legacy BluTV code are separate matters. Automatic conversion of every old code into HBO Max membership has not been established.

Review account and package conditions

Whether a subscription was purchased directly or through a partner may affect migration. Current promotional codes may have region, expiry, new/existing-account and payment-method requirements.

Membership questions

Can I redeem a BluTV code directly on HBO Max?

This cannot be assumed for every legacy code. Acceptance of the specific code type by HBO Max must be confirmed separately.

Does a HBO Max promotion renew automatically?

It depends on the promotion. Check payment-card requirements, end-of-period billing and renewal terms on the official redemption screen.

Using a BluTV code after the HBO Max transition

An old code sold under BluTV is not guaranteed to work with current HBO Max. Verify its service and validity first; HBO Max steps below apply only to confirmed compatible codes.

Confirm current code eligibility

Use your order details to confirm the supported service and activation address with Hipopotamya support. Do not treat an old BluTV voucher as an HBO Max code.

Redeem a compatible HBO Max code online

Only if HBO Max compatibility is confirmed, enter the code at HBOMax.com/redeem and select Apply. Review the offer and follow sign-in/registration for an eligible account.

Check the subscription result

Review required payment details and renewal terms before completing. Existing members billed directly by HBO Max may have Redeem Code on the subscription page; third-party billing may differ.

Redemption questions

Does my BluTV account make the code valid?

Account sign-in eligibility and coupon validity are separate. Confirm current activation for your specific code.
