What Is 2XKO? Gameplay and Current Product Information

2XKO is Riot Games’ free-to-play 2v2 tag-team fighting game featuring champions from the League of Legends universe. Control two champions yourself or team up with a friend. This category covers the game and the current information you should consider when choosing digital products.

Two champions, different fighting styles

Switching champions and supporting your partner are central to 2XKO’s gameplay. Success depends on timing, defense and teamwork. Consider a champion’s moves and team synergy, not just their appearance.

A different experience from League of Legends

Familiar characters such as Ahri, Yasuo and Jinx take part in fighting matches rather than a MOBA map. Do not treat your LoL RP balance or skins as interchangeable with 2XKO content.

Play solo or with a friend

You can control both characters on your team or share control with a friend. Learning basic moves and character switches matters more for a beginner than purchasing content.

PC and console options

2XKO is playable on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Platform support does not automatically mean that a digital payment code is compatible. Confirm compatibility before buying a code.

Important KO Points update

Riot disabled KO Points purchases on August 20, 2026 and removed the currency with September’s patch 1.3.1. Active development will end in late 2026, while servers are planned to remain online. Do not treat old KO Points redemption descriptions as current.

Do I need to pay to play 2XKO?

The base game is free. Check the current game store for optional content purchase conditions. A product being listed in our shop does not, by itself, show that it can still be used in the game.

Can I use a Riot Access code in 2XKO?

Since the KO Points system has been removed, do not purchase such a code expecting it to provide 2XKO currency. Compatibility with other Riot games does not establish compatibility with 2XKO.

What if I have an old order or an unused code?

Contact Hipopotamya support with your order number and product information. Do not share your account password. Your previous purchase needs to be reviewed individually.
