"Istanbul Kıyamet Vakti" is a video game developed and published by Turkish game developer and publisher Rocwise Entertainment. The game is an action-adventure based on Turkish mythology and legends.

In the game, players roam the streets of Istanbul, completing various missions, battling enemies, and progressing through the storyline. The game also features various figures and creatures from Turkish mythology.

History of Istanbul Kıyamet Vakti

Initially started under the code name "Istanbul" in February 2004 by a 7-person team led by Mevlüt Dinç. Alpha testing began on April 5, 2005, and on December 25, 2006, the game entered an open beta testing phase. On April 1, 2007, it was officially released as a full version. Following its release, 6 major expansion packs and 4 significant add-on packs were published.

What are the Expansion Packs of Istanbul Kıyamet Vakti?

Meteor Expansion Pack
The first expansion pack, Meteor, featured the Meteor Region and Sivri Island (Hayırsız Ada) focusing on significant clan developments, and was released on October 1, 2007.

Meteor Region
A crater zone, forbidden to Eminönü residents where no one ever returned, was opened to Teşkilat members. The Meteor Region, created by a massive crater falling closest to Eminönü after the catastrophe, is home to outlaws, savages, wolves, gangs, and countless perils. Despite its barrenness, the land is rich in minerals and was officially opened under Teşkilat’s supervision on October 1, 2007.

Sivri Island
Known historically as a place of exile for monks, clergymen, and nobles, Sivri Island also earned the infamous name "Hayırsız Ada" (Worthless Island) when thousands of stray dogs from Istanbul were abandoned there to die during the Ottoman era. After the apocalypse, countless undead hounds haunted the island, threatening human presence. Additionally, cursed warriors and spirits wander within. Access to Sivri Island is only possible with a Spirit Stone obtained in the Meteor Region.
