Which account supports a TL card?

Check compatibility for Turkey. Your Apple Account country or region matters more than the device language or your current location. Do not treat a card from another country as automatically converted credit.

What can Apple credit be used for?

On a compatible account, credit can pay for eligible App Store apps, games and in-app purchases. Use with services such as Apple Music or iCloud+ depends on country and payment conditions. Do not assume every subscription accepts credit alone.

Distinguish the card type

App Store & iTunes cards are different from Apple Store gift cards. The name alone does not promise purchases of an iPhone or physical accessories. Check the selected code’s type and usage scope on its product page.

Before redeeming the code

Sign in to the intended Apple Account in the App Store’s code redemption area. Check the account country before confirming the delivered code. Adding credit does not automatically buy content; make a separate store purchase afterwards.

Can a TL code be used on an Apple Account in another country?

Do not assume a Turkey-scoped card is compatible with an account registered elsewhere. Choose for your account country; the currency does not guarantee automatic conversion.

Is the credit shared with family members?

Apple Account credit is personal; Family Sharing members cannot spend it as a shared wallet. If buying a gift, verify the recipient’s account country before redeeming the code.

Does a subscription need an additional payment method?

Some purchases and subscriptions may require another payment method on file. Adding credit does not start a subscription automatically. Review the service’s payment conditions displayed for your account.
