Which account supports a SAR card?

Check compatibility for Saudi Arabia. Your Apple Account country or region matters more than the device language or your current location. Do not treat a card from another country as automatically converted credit.

What can Apple credit be used for?

On a compatible account, credit can pay for eligible App Store apps, games and in-app purchases. Use with services such as Apple Music or iCloud+ depends on country and payment conditions. Do not assume every subscription accepts credit alone.

Distinguish the card type

App Store & iTunes cards are different from Apple Store gift cards. The name alone does not promise purchases of an iPhone or physical accessories. Check the selected code’s type and usage scope on its product page.

Before redeeming the code

Sign in to the intended Apple Account in the App Store’s code redemption area. Check the account country before confirming the delivered code. Adding credit does not automatically buy content; make a separate store purchase afterwards.

Can a SAR code be used on a Turkey-region Apple Account?

Do not assume a card for Saudi Arabia works with a Turkey-region account. Apple cards cannot be redeemed outside their purchase country or region. Choose a product matching your account.

Is the credit shared with family members?

Apple Account credit is personal; Family Sharing members cannot spend it as a shared wallet. If buying a gift, verify the recipient’s account country before redeeming the code.

Does a subscription need an additional payment method?

Some purchases and subscriptions may require another payment method on file. Adding credit does not start a subscription automatically. Review the service’s payment conditions displayed for your account.
